What will I expect during a Service?
All of our technicians are trained to discreetly drape areas of your body not involved in the treatment and to protect your privacy at all times. Please communicate comfort requests such as room temperature, type of massage requested, music volume or any other discomforts during your service. Most people wear undergarments during a massage, bras are usually removed prior to a massage.
How do I give my Therapist a tip?
A 15% Gratuity has already been included in all the prices for Massage & Facials! You do not need to add anything extra to the Massage Therapist or Esthetician. We offer this so that you don't have to calculate anything when you are paying for your services. It can also be complicated when you have multiple therapists servicing you. It makes gift giving wonderful too! If you feel that your therapist has performed an exceptional service, feel free to add extra but that is totally up to you. Holiday gifts are accepted if you wish to contribute.
Do you have showers, saunas or steam rooms?
No we do not have these services available at this time.
What if I am late for an appointment?
If you are over 15 minutes past your scheduled time you will lose your paid service time. If you are over 15 minutes late you will be required to pay 50% of the service cost and reschedule. Our therapists get paid by the service so if a client does not show up, they do not get paid. Arriving late can go into the next clients time schedule! The 50% fee is to ensure that they are paid for their lost working time. PLEASE CALL US with a 24 hour or more advanced notice to cancel or change an appointment to avoid this fee. Also please call us if you are running behind to see if we can make arrangements to fit your scheduled time in around other appointments.
Can I bring my child?
We all love children, but for the saftey of the child and the comfort of guests, please make arrangements for the care of your child while you receive your service. We do provide only Natural Nail Services for young Princesses. We do not allow children to get the Princess Nail Service while the guardian gets a Massage or Facial service unless another guardian is with the child. We have chemicals and hot equipment all around the spa, we are not responsible for any child's action during their visit. The guardian is responsible for the child's saftey during their entire visit.
Should I avoid visiting if I am pregnant?
Not at all, though you want to avoid treatments using deep pressure such as deep tissue massages and body treatments that require long periods of laying down. Please consult your doctor prior to any treatment if you have any questions.
Can I ask the therapist to adjust things to increase my comfort?
Definitely, it is your time, and you should enjoy the experience. Ask to change the lighting or fewer or more covers for example, or the amount of pressure applied during your massage. There is no pressure to talk during a treatment. It’s entirely up to you. If you have questions or would like to talk during the session, certainly do so. The therapist takes their cues from you. If you are quiet, they will be too.
Do you Serve Alcohol?
No, we do not serve alcohol at our Day Spa. We also do not recommend consuming alcohol prior or right after a massage since most of our body treatments promote circulation and detoxification.
